Morzine is very child friendly and so are we. We'll do whatever we can at the chalet to provide an environment that entertains the kids and makes your life as easy as possible.

For the children

Apart from the fantastic swimming pool complex there is lots more to do.

Summer sledging

Whether you're young in age or just young at heart you cannot fail to have just the biggest laugh on the summer sledging run. This is a concrete luge course that you travel down on a plastic sledge with wheels, and with two courses to choose from you can pick the level of thrill factor for yourself.

Children's Farm

Right next to the horse riding centre is a cute little farm which is home to a number of two and four-legged friends which children are free to feed every day.

Tree-top Adventure Parks

There are several tree-top adventure parks in the area. The one in the centre of Morzine caters for younger children as well as adults, whilst the park in Les Gets is on a larger scale and provides an exciting challenge for older children and their parents. Their locations mean you can easily combine with trips to the swimming pool or leisure lakes

Lac Montriond

This is a terrific lake in a beautiful setting less than 10mins from Morzine, and in the summer provides a children's bathing area, canoeing, rowing boats, grass play area and several cafe's to keep you suitable refreshed. Donkeys can also be hired to take the children for a ride around the lake which takes around an hour.

Sleigh Rides

Starting from the Tourist Office these Horse-drawn sleigh rides are great fun for the children and a great way to see Morzine and the surrounding area

Mountain Biking

It's not just for the adults, bikes for all ages of children can be hired and because all routes are graded it means we can point you in the right direction for a family ride.

Horse-riding

The horse-riding centre in Morzine offers a full range of activities at all levels from beginners to intermediate, and is open every day during the school holidays. Children as young as 4 can attend and get to grips with our equine friends or more experienced riders can book 2-3 hour treks into the hills.

Mini-golf

There are two mini-golf courses that can be played during summer if you enjoy a round of Obstacle golf.

Chalet entertainment

Children's entertainment doesn't end when you return to the chalet. We try to create an environment that keeps children entertained which means we are able to offer the following:

  • Separate children's meal times & BBQ's if appropriate
  • Cot facilities
  • Table football and indoor games
  • Sky TV, Kids DVD's & Video's
